BCS CHIEFS SCOUTING REPORTS

BCS Chiefs 2020 Flag Football Scouting Reports and Team Information & Resources

Hello, Chiefs fans.  This is Coach Jose – please DO NOT SHARE with anyone.  This page is here as part of my extra coaching program – 1 day a week is not enough, and this keeps the kids engaged.  FYI, we’ve been the Patriots for the last several seasons, but all of a sudden my son #12 is now a Chiefs fan.

 GAME 1 SCOUTING REPORT

Our 1st game is Vs. the Ravens and we are the visiting team.  We’re playing a tough opponent – but of course, we have a plan.  The kids to watch for are CJ #8, Rhett #3 and Elijah#5.

We’ve played against CJ a few times and the kid is super fast and we will need to play as a team in order to beat them and make good decisions.  Rhett can throw and catch – but David will cover him 1:1.  I don’t know Elijah, but I’ve heard he’s good – and he will be covered by Stryker.

The videos are to show his speed so that the kids can be ready.

Time Play (W2W4) What To Watch For
7:40 We held them to nothing until we kicked off to them in the second half – Lilly and Jake will not punt or kickoff to him – Lilly – this is why you must kick to the side or a low one so a player can touch the ball and it’s dead there.  Next play we INT the extra point try.
8:35 This is our Fumblerooski play.  Mateo, Kit, Stryker, and others will replace #30 and when you’re running the play look straight ahead not to the side like you’re expecting the ball.

Time Play (W2W4) What To Watch For
1:45 This shows how CJ will line up as QB and steps back but then takes off – look at his speed and if your assignment is in the middle you cannot move from there.
8:35 This shows how CJ #16 will line up on the line and goes out for a pass.
9:27 This shows the Statue of Liberty play – Kit, David, Cole if he’s lined up on your side – you then need to go right next to CJ and if he’s about to get the ball then pull his flag.

 GAME TAPE

This is here to help the Rookies with how we run plays, assignments, and plays we run.  It is very helpful if they see this as we will run these plays and practices are not long or often enough.

Time Play (W2W4) What To Watch For
1:15 Going No. 2 Dump Pass 2. This is a Play that all kids will take turn catching the ball when possible
1:38 CB left rushes in – Corners will rush in when they do not have a WR in front of them
2:55 Shock ‘Em QB Run Play – Stryker, Cole, Porkchop, Lilly will replace #3 in this play.
3:15 1450 play –
3:23 DOG POUND 1 this is a play run by the Cleveland Browns, we will run it – hence the name
5:20 punt to Jake backs come up and block – if you don’t get the ball – you need to block
6:00 Rudy Right – this is a play that we will also take turns running with all of the kids
6:40 DOG POUND 2
8:27 kickoff – shows how low our kicks need to be if kicked to the middle – Lilly will be our kicker and with very fast opponents we will kick it out of bounds to the side.

Time Play (W2W4) What To Watch For
5:55 Flea Flicker
7:37 QB run
9:28 DE blitz no one there – David, Cole, and Chance will play De’s – Rush is key
13:03 Who Ya Got – we had this team so messed up as the kids move around and they wanted to cover #30 and they just couldn’t stop him – Cole, Lilly, and Stryker will replace him.
13:29 CB’s shift – this shows how the corners need to shift when the offense moves to WR’s formation
14:53 Double Tap – play
15:30 Eddie Spaghetti – TD run – play
16:30 quad WR’s. CB’s shift-this shows how the corners need to shift when the offense moves to WR’s formation

We had two offensive possessions and scored each time – this is how efficient the team got to be.

Time Play (W2W4) What To Watch For
1:00 Rudy Right
2:45 Shock ‘Em Pass Left – Lilly, Stryker, David and Pork Chop will run this play as #3 to pass – Mateo and others will play QB – Very important that Stryker and the QB from Mateo to Lily look at how the 2 players (#30 and #13) move in sync to block #13 and #3 to get the ball – this play we run or pass – this is the pass.

Time Play (W2W4) What To Watch For
1:15 Shock ‘Em Run Left – #3 will be replaced by Stryker, Porkchop, Cole, and David. # 30 will be replaced by Mateo, Kit, and others.
2:00 Shock ‘Em Run Left – #3 will be replaced by Stryker, Porkchop, Cole, and David. # 30 will be replaced by Mateo, Kit, and others.
3:25 Rudy Right Play – all kids will get to do this play
4:20 This shows the importance of the punting or kickoff – we won here and this was a very good team
Next Play(s) The next few plays show how the kids move on defense – makes it fun for them
5:29 Pound It Right Play
